CIO / Senior Vice President of Technology

Laurie Pyle is responsible for the overall technology needs of Stewart Lender Services. Stewart Lender Services provides the Mortgage Industry with innovative electronic closing and electronic mortgage technology, nationwide title and escrow services, Home Retention and loss mitigation services and a complete suite of post-closing support services. In her role as Senior Vice President of Technology Laurie oversees the eMortgage and eClosing strategy, manages software development, technical infrastructure and client implementation / consulting services and leads the product development efforts for Stewart Lender Services.

Laurie has over 15 years experience managing technology operations, implementation and consulting. Most recently she served as the Vice President of Enterprise Technology for First American's Enterprise Technology Group. In this capacity, she was responsible for a number of critical technology areas for First American, including managing technology deployed into large lender joint ventures and she managed the integration and systems deployment teams.

Prior to First American, Laurie spent over seven years with RealEC® Technologies as Senior Vice President of Technology. In this capacity Laurie was a critical factor in the success and growth of RealEC. As a member of the original senior management team, Laurie oversaw product development, solution consulting, quality assurance and technology strategy.

Previous to her tenure at RealEC Technologies, Pyle gained experience serving as a manager of technology implementations, database administration and database design.

Pyle graduated from the Methodist University (formerly Methodist College) in Fayetteville, NC with bachelor’s degrees in international business and economics and while serving in the United States Army received fluency certification from the Department of Defense in both the Russian and German languages. She and her husband, Jim, live in Sugar Land, Texas.
